Workbench Transparency
Every piece is inspected and documented before any work begins. You receive a written condition note so there are no surprises on collection.
Heritage Calibre Knowledge
Older movements and obscure calibres are handled with the same attention as contemporary pieces. We keep reference material for hundreds of movements on file.
Calibrated Timing Equipment
Movements leave the bench verified against a timing machine. Rates are documented and shared with the owner as part of the service record.
Measured Restoration Approach
Case work is discussed in advance. Re-finishing is done by hand with tools chosen for the metal and finish type — never aggressive polishing that removes original surfaces.
In-House Parts Fabrication
When catalogue parts are no longer available, certain components can be fabricated or sourced through specialist networks — particularly for vintage and pre-war movements.
Turnaround Discussed Up Front
Lead times vary by work complexity and current queue. We discuss a realistic timeframe at intake — and keep you informed if anything changes mid-service.
